The 18th edition of the Historical Revival of the Milano-Sanremo Cup will return next spring, reaffirming its place among the great classic events in historic motoring. The event is part of the ACI Sport Italian Major Events Championship and the FIVA International Calendar.

On the occasion of its participation in Auto e Moto d’Epoca Bologna, taking place from 22 to 25 October 2026, the Historical Revival of the Milano-Sanremo Cup, located in Hall 26, Stand A7 B8, officially opens registrations for its 18th edition.

The route has been designed to cross some of Northern Italy’s most captivating regions, combining roads that have made motoring history with breathtaking scenery. The aim is to offer crews an edition that is even more exclusive and memorable than previous years. The event will once again follow a circular route, with both the start and finish in the heart of Lombardy, taking participants on a spectacular journey through Ligurian villages and the landscapes of Piedmont.

The rally will start at the Tazio Nuvolari Circuit in Cervesina, which will host the technical and sporting scrutineering, special stages and on-track activities. In the evening, crews will arrive in Rapallo, the jewel of the Tigullio Riviera.

The following day, participants will depart from Rapallo and travel through the landscapes of Piedmont, with a lunch break among the hills of Monferrato. They will then continue to Sanremo, the City of Flowers, where the day will conclude with dinner at an exclusive venue.

On Saturday, the cars will leave Sanremo and head into the Ligurian hinterland. After a lunch break at Marina di Loano, the convoy will reach Genoa for the end of the day's stage and an overnight stay.

On the final day of the rally, crews will make their way to Milan for the concluding special stages at Linate Airport. As tradition dictates, the convoy will then proceed to the headquarters of the Automobile Club Milano on Corso Venezia, in the heart of the Lombard capital, handing over the baton to another major event for the city: Milan Design Week, which will begin the following day.

Once again this year, the Automobile Club Milano will act as the event’s official patron and provide operational support. Through its sporting division, ACI Sport, it will also grant the rally its competitive status as part of the Italian Major Events Championship.

Eligible Vehicles

All historic vehicles registered in any country and manufactured from the earliest days of motoring through to 2000 will be eligible, provided they are in excellent working condition and faithful to their original specifications. Vehicles must hold one of the following documents: an F.I.V.A. Identity Card, an F.I.A. Heritage fiche, A.S.I. homologation or an ACI Sport fiche.

Eligible vehicles may not be replaced unless special authorisation is granted by the Commission.

This year, the opportunity to take part in the exclusive Tribute category is also confirmed. This category is reserved for modern supercars and the most iconic youngtimers, manufactured from 2001 to the present day.

Entries will close on 28 March 2027.
